Meet Mykaela!


Mykaela Sterris 

(Youth Programming Director)

Mykaela is a proud alumna of the Fullerton Union High School and UH Mānoa theatre and music programs. While in high school, Mykaela acted as Vice President of the CA Thespian Student State Board, was President of Troupe 2498, an active Cappie reviewer, and an emerging artist and August Wilson Competition Finalist with Center Theatre Group. She regularly represented her school proudly at 

various theatre and music festivals and competitions, including Spotlight, OC Artist of the Year, and CA State & International Thespian Festival. Mykaela was a founding member of Da Kine Improv at Kennedy Theatre on the island of Oʻahu, where she also worked as a stitcher and wardrobe supervisor. Mykaela has also returned to her alma mater, Fullerton Union, to be a guest on multiple audition panels, provide guidance to students in various acting competitions, and act as a Music Director and Production Assistant for CETA award-winning production The Secret in the Wings. Her passion lies in inspiring the next generation of theatre artists to be the best, most well-rounded humans they can be.
